Trendest Studio PaaS
A software-defined media operations control plane from asset preparation to monetisable channel output.
One operating layer for modern broadcast and streaming
Trendest Studio is designed to consolidate workflows that are frequently purchased, integrated and operated as separate systems. The platform brings media preparation, quality control, asset management, programming, signalling, graphics, playout, streaming and distribution into a shared operational model. The objective is not to lock customers into one monolith: the same architecture is intended to expose individual Astra services independently while retaining a common asset identity, metadata model, policy state and event history when the modules are used together.
For broadcasters and FAST/OTT operators, the value of a coordinated control plane is operational continuity. A title approved by QC should not need to be rediscovered by the scheduler; a break approved in scheduling should not lose its identity when it reaches SCTE signalling; a playout event should be reconcilable against the schedule and commercial ledger. Trendest Studio is built around that continuity.
From media asset to channel output
Hosted, dedicated, private or hybrid
The platform direction supports multi-tenant hosted PaaS, dedicated environments, private deployments and hybrid patterns where storage, contribution or regulatory constraints require customer-controlled infrastructure. API-first module boundaries also allow existing customer systems to remain in place while selected Astra capabilities are introduced.
Built for deterministic media workflows
Media operations need job state, retries, evidence, operator controls, audit history, fail-closed publication gates and recoverability. Studio is intended to preserve those operational disciplines while adding automation rather than hiding complexity behind opaque AI decisions.
Technical architecture and integration surfaces
Future-ready technology evolution
Studio is intended to evolve with the media industry rather than freeze around a single distribution format. Relevant technology directions include ST 2110-connected professional facilities, cloud-native live production, CMAF-based multi-protocol packaging, low-latency HLS/DASH, per-title encoding, AV1 and future codecs, C2PA provenance, AI-assisted QC, semantic metadata, policy-as-code, event-driven ad insertion, automated disaster recovery and edge-assisted delivery. These are roadmap and interoperability directions, not claims that every standard is already implemented in every deployment.
Designed to interoperate with the ecosystem
The Astra advantage inside Studio
The differentiator is the possibility of carrying context across stages. Factory outputs can inherit a canonical MAM identity. QC evidence can travel with that identity into scheduling. AstraSignal can turn approved break decisions into machine-readable events. AstraPlayout can execute those events, while AstraDistribution records where the output was published. AstraAnalytics and AstraLedger can then reconcile operational and commercial evidence. Customers may still use third-party systems at any layer; the Astra architecture is intended to reduce the amount of glue code and semantic translation required between them.
