Trendest TV PaaS
Streaming infrastructure with an owned FAST + VOD consumer environment and a white-label platform direction.
A consumer platform and a technology proving ground
Trendest TV is both an audience-facing entertainment service and the owned reference deployment for the wider AYA technology stack. The platform combines FAST linear channels with on-demand viewing, allowing the company to validate ingest, packaging, metadata, programme guides, playback, content protection, policy, analytics and monetisation inside a real service before those capabilities are deployed for external customers.
The content proposition is designed around a substantial catalogue: more than 1,500 restored and 4K-upgraded movies together with 200+ live channels. The intended consumer model is free to subscribers, creating a broad-access FAST/AVOD environment where advertising, sponsorship, commerce and other monetisation models can be developed without requiring every viewer to pay a subscription fee. Channel and catalogue availability may vary by rights, territory, launch phase and device.
Unified live + on-demand viewing
Playback, discovery, channel rails, programme guides, search, personalisation, resume state, watch history and accessibility can be presented through a common service layer.
Validate the Astra stack
Trendest TV provides a controlled environment for AstraVue, AstraGuard, AstraStream, AstraPolicy, AstraSignal, AstraAnalytics and monetisation modules to operate together.
Backend for other entertainment brands
The same service architecture is intended to be packaged for media companies that need a streaming backend, content management, playback, apps, live channels and monetisation without building every layer independently.
Multi-device architecture
Restoration, 4K upgrading and timeless catalogue strategy
The 1,500+ movie proposition is intended to give classic and catalogue content a modern delivery life. Restoration and 4K upgrading workflows can include source evaluation, image cleanup, colour and contrast correction, deinterlacing where required, upscale/remaster processing, audio cleanup, loudness normalisation, subtitle preparation, artwork refresh and new streaming packages. AI-assisted restoration may accelerate selected tasks, but preservation quality and editorial review remain important for historical works.
Catalogues can then be repackaged into thematic FAST channels, VOD collections, regional language experiences and event programming. Because the same asset identity can flow through Trendest Studio and Trendest TV, restored masters, subtitles, posters, rights and QC evidence can remain connected to the audience-facing service.
200+ live channels and FAST operations
The live-channel proposition can span entertainment, classic cinema, factual, documentary, science, healthcare, history, lifestyle, children’s programming and other curated verticals. A large channel footprint requires more than a player: channel scheduling, EPG generation, SCTE break signaling, graphics, playout health, distribution, rights windows, ad operations, as-run evidence and audience analytics all need coordinated automation. This is where Trendest TV becomes the reference customer for Trendest Studio and the Astra product family.
Future-ready streaming evolution
Trendest TV can evolve toward CMAF-based HLS/DASH interoperability, low-latency modes, AV1 and future codecs, 4K/HDR device capability negotiation, multi-CDN steering, spatial and personalised audio, interactive CTV, shoppable media, server-guided ad insertion, privacy-aware personalisation, conversational discovery and eventually immersive/automotive entertainment environments where device ecosystems support them. These are roadmap directions rather than claims of universal current availability.
